Although best known as the older brother of skiing star Janica Kostelić, Ivica Kostelić became a world class skier himself. Primarily a slalom specialist, he has won eight World Cup races (as of 2009), the 2003 slalom world title and the overall Slalom World Cup in 2002. His slalom abilities also make him a top combined competitor, winning a silver medal in that discipline at the 2006 Olympics, and winning one (super) combined World Cup.
